Refugee Assistance

Over 5 million Iraqis have lost their homes because of the war. Many of them are internally displaced people (IDPs), forced to leave their homes with nothing more than the clothes on their backs.
Canadian Aid and Relief Foundation provides monthly assistance to refugees with a warm meal, ample clothing, safe shelter, and crucial financial aid. CARF has provided blankets to refugees settled in Southern Iraq, along with in-kind items, such as thermoses, heaters, and swamp coolers to refugees in camps. An extremely low percentage of these families were saved from the war. CARF also was able to help the Lebanese guests in Iraq who got displaced because of the war in 2024, thanks to Vancouver community for holding a fundraiser in November 2024.Your assistance will help them survive the struggles of the refugee camp.Read more about the refugees that CARF provides relief to.
